Vertical window elements

VERTICAL WINDOW ELEMENTS VFE/VFA/VFB WITH

FLASHINGS EFW/EFL

Vertical window elements VFE/VFA/VFB are always combined

with a roof window of the same width. The ﬂashings for these

combinations are EFW/EFL.

Follow the instructions supplied with vertical window elements

when installing the windows. However, adjustment of the roof

window is described in the installation instructions supplied with

the window.

Special brackets for the roof window are supplied with the vertical

window element.

Note! When installing roof windows in combinations with vertical

window elements, the drainage of the roof must be considered, as

the course of the eaves gutter is interrupted. As the ﬂashing drains

o the water to both sides of the windows, it must be ensured that

there is a downpipe on both sides of the interrupted gutter.
